Use the smooth eye curves as a beginner-friendly first cut.

Transfer each tooth tab before cutting the mouth so none is missed.

Start with the shorter mouth corners and work toward its broad middle.

Leave the wide central strip between the eyes and nose uncut.

Place this face on a taller pumpkin to leave room above the eyes.

The narrow wink is best enlarged rather than cut on a small pumpkin.

Preserve the open ends of the crescent cutouts.

Cut the long smile first, then connect the short stitch slots.

Keep extra pumpkin around the eye corners and tooth tabs.

This face uses three broad cutouts; leave a generous strip between them.

Mark the ends of the curved cuts before removing the middle.

Keep the tips of the wings broad and avoid shrinking the pattern too far.

The white face bridges hold the expression in the surrounding sheet.

Take your time around the tail curve and preserve the eye bridges.

This simple crescent pairs well with small star templates.

Preserve the band connection and leave room around the long hat tip.

Tape the paper flat across the windows before transferring the small bridge lines.

Keep the central eye details attached by their white bridges.

Enlarge for thinner pumpkins so the legs have room between them.

Preserve the narrow connections around the nose and teeth.

Place the letters on the broadest side of the pumpkin.

Leave the central white vein uncut so the leaf keeps its structure.

Begin with the smallest star to check your transfer and cutting technique.
