Open Rings, Irregular Webs and Spiders

Compare open-ring webs, fine radial nets, thick strands and spider-and-web compositions. Open rings leave more space; dense nets keep many small cells and need a more patient cut. The live pattern count above follows the actual files in the collection.

Dense inner rings were removed from selected source drawings, thin lines were adapted where needed, and white connections keep enclosed paper attached. Each pattern links its own source and credit. These are painting masks with the surrounding sheet retained, rather than fold-and-cut paper webs. Browse spider stencils for an isolated creature.

Print a Proof Before Cutting

Choose A4 or US Letter above the patterns. The direct library PDF needs no account and places the artwork in a 150 mm square. Print at 100% or Actual size, measure the 25 mm test line, and check the smallest opening in the chosen material. Cut black areas and retain all white connections.

Choose Customize to open the exact design in the editor. Edited PNG and single-page PDF downloads require a free account; vector export and tiled full-size printing are Pro features. See the printing guide or return to the Halloween stencil hub.

Choosing Your Spider Web Stencils

These are cut-away masks, not joined paper webs. Cut black lines and retain white breaks. Thin web lines need a generous size and a careful paper proof.

Download, Print and Cut at the Right Size

Choose A4 or US Letter and download the PDF directly. No account is needed for these library files. Each PDF places the pattern in a 150 mm square and includes a 25 mm test line. Choose “Actual size” or 100% in your print dialog, and measure the line before transferring the design. Black areas are the cutouts; white areas are kept.

The PNG is 2100 × 2100 pixels. For another size, open the pattern in the editor. Saving projects and downloading edited artwork require a free account; PNG and single-page PDF are free. Vector export and full-size tiled printing are Pro features; see the plans page for available upgrades.

SUPPORT

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these different drawings or variations of one web?

The collection contains separately reviewed source drawings. Size changes, rotations and recolours are not counted as extra web patterns. The pattern count above is generated from the actual catalog.

Why do the rings have white breaks?

White breaks keep enclosed material attached to the surrounding sheet. Cut the black openings and retain the connections, including any thread between a spider and web.

Which web suits a small card?

Compare the open-ring designs first, then print a proof at the final size. The dense medallion and thin spider webs need more room; do not assume every web can be safely shrunk to the same size.
