Cutting Tip

Use a generous print size for the thin lines. Keep all white breaks intact.

Transfer the Three-ring Spider Web Pattern

Print at 100% or “Actual size” and measure the 25 mm test line. Check the usable area of your card, sign or window before cutting. Secure the print to a suitable stencil sheet and transfer the outline. For painting, cut the black areas out of the sheet, then use light paint passes through those openings.

Black shapes are cut away. Keep all white areas and bridge connections intact. This design is rated Advanced for its shape detail; your material and cutting tools can change how difficult it feels. Work on a stable surface and keep hands clear of the cutting path.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these different drawings or variations of one web?

The collection contains separately reviewed source drawings. Size changes, rotations and recolours are not counted as extra web patterns. The pattern count above is generated from the actual catalog.

Why do the rings have white breaks?

White breaks keep enclosed material attached to the surrounding sheet. Cut the black openings and retain the connections, including any thread between a spider and web.

Which web suits a small card?

Compare the open-ring designs first, then print a proof at the final size. The dense medallion and thin spider webs need more room; do not assume every web can be safely shrunk to the same size.
