A single round bauble makes a clear repeat on wrapping paper. A trio or ribboned ornament creates its own arrangement and needs more room. The hanging loop, cap and any inside stripes affect the cut, even when the outside looks like a simple circle.
Mark a light guideline if several ornaments need to hang at the same height. Apply a thin paint pass, lift the sheet carefully, then wait before overlapping the next mask. Keep the prepared white bridges across enclosed stripes and loops. For a countdown project, the Advent calendar layouts provide complete numbered arrangements; for a natural border, use holly, wreaths and poinsettias.
Keep the cap and hanging loop attached to the outer white sheet. Ribbons and clusters can have finer gaps than a single bauble, so check the preview at the intended size.
