Choose a Plain Sock or a Filled Stocking

A plain stocking silhouette leaves visual room for a name beside it. A filled stocking adds candy or presents above the cuff and changes the overall height. Groups and fireplace scenes need a wider area than one sock; use the preview to plan the complete composition.

Print a proof and check the heel curve, cuff gap and small details above the opening. Keep all white strips attached. If you want to paint a name, use the separate letter stencil generator and make a spacing proof before combining the masks. For numbered gift pockets rather than a sewn sock, compare the complete Advent calendar layouts. These files are flat stencils, not fabric sewing patterns with seam allowances.

Choosing Your Christmas Stocking Stencils

Check the opening between the cuff and body, the inside heel and any gifts above the rim. A filled stocking needs more height than a plain sock silhouette.
