Cutting Tip

Follow the stem's curve without cutting across the white gaps between leaves. Support the narrow stem while lifting waste.

Use This Leafy Sprig Design

Point the sprig towards the centre of a card or use its diagonal stem as a guide for a repeating edge. Mark the starting point outside the cutouts so every impression keeps the same spacing.

Transfer the Leafy Sprig Pattern

Print at 100% or “Actual size” and measure the 25 mm test line. Check the usable area of your card, sign or window before cutting. Secure the print to a suitable stencil sheet and transfer the outline. For painting, cut the black areas out of the sheet, then use light paint passes through those openings.

Black shapes are cut away. Keep all white areas and bridge connections intact. This design is rated Beginner for its shape detail; your material and cutting tools can change how difficult it feels. Work on a stable surface and keep hands clear of the cutting path.

Resize or Adapt Your Leafy Sprig Stencil
