Cutting Tip

Check the hand and blade tip at the final print size.

Use This Hood and Scythe Design

Place the hood-and-scythe motif on a Halloween warning sign; use more space around the long blade than around the hood.

Transfer the Hood and Scythe Pattern

Print at 100% or “Actual size” and measure the 25 mm test line. Check the usable area of your card, sign or window before cutting. Secure the print to a suitable stencil sheet and transfer the outline. For painting, cut the black areas out of the sheet, then use light paint passes through those openings.

Black shapes are cut away. Keep all white areas and bridge connections intact. This design is rated Intermediate for its shape detail; your material and cutting tools can change how difficult it feels. Work on a stable surface and keep hands clear of the cutting path.

Resize or Adapt Your Hood and Scythe Stencil
